My Top 5 skincare products

Best suit for women

Winter is one of the most challenging times for my skin. I don’t know about you but I’m not a fan of the rough dry skins or chapped lips – not only is it not attractive, but it just doesn’t feel good! To help protect my skin from the harsh cold winds of winter, and dry temperatures I’ve incorporated a skincare regimen to nourish my skin and help it glow.

I have my everyday routine which I keep super basic, but I also love setting one or two days in the week to show extra love to my skin and use this time as a moment of self-care to take a break and just focus on me. There has been a time where self-care in Winter is not a top priority for me, but after experiencing seasonal sadness (thankful it did not go up to me being depressed), I now understand how taking time to pamper myself is so important not only for my skin but also my mental health.

After suffering from acne, I have learned to keep my routine very simple. There is more is less.

Cleanser

I typically start my routine by using a facial cleanser. This helps get all of the dirt from the surface of my skin and helps me feel fresh and clean. There are many different types of cleansers out there – some that foam and others that don’t. I wash my face with warm water after cleansing and pat it lightly dry with a soft towel.

Toner

A toner helps clear out pores. I’ve always admired women with that poreless porcelain kind of complexion. Their skin looks so smooth and flawless. I’ve found that toner really can help get rid of all of the dirt and oil that can clog pores and lead to breakouts. It’s so satisfying to see your blackheads disappear when using a toner!

Serum

This is my favorite essential! There’s something so luxurious and lovely about choosing a serum or treatment for your skin. It’s like an extra sign of love! I love experimenting and using different types of serums depending on what I need that day. I do have a favorite serum though

Moisturizers

Moisturizing my face helps my skin get that healthy glow. I know when I moisturize (especially in the winter) that I’m giving my skin the nutrients it needs to stay and look healthy. In the morning I use a morning moisturizer and in the evening I use an evening moisturizer. My skin always looks radiant in the winter and never dry!

I love putting my various creams on and showing myself that I matter, I’m important, and that I deserve this little act of love

Sunscreen

So many people think that because there’s less sun in the winter, that sunscreen isn’t necessary but that’s not true. Sunscreen is important for all seasons of the year and helps protect our skin. I know many people who have gotten skin cancer because they weren’t careful about protecting their skin, so this step is really important to me. I hope you guys will wear sunscreen too!

Setting Mist

This has become an habit, it leave my skin feeling refreshed

The wintertime is a time to feel cozy and do good things for yourself, and for me, that’s taking care of my skin. I love knowing that I’m protecting my body’s largest organ, treating it right, and also looking my best! It also helps let my body know at the end of the day that I’m getting ready for bed (because it’s part of my night routine), and lets me know that I’m about to tackle the day ahead (when I do it in the morning).
