Some winter wardrobe essentials: Is winter fashion a thing?

Outfit details

Jogger set: Target
Trench coat: Boohoo
Loafers: DSW

Exhibiting your chic fashion sense in the chilly weather while keeping yourself warm is not as hard as you think. Winter fashion is more about layering, so to upgrade your essential winter wardrobe, add in the statement pieces. Then, with a bit of mix and match, you can create timeless combinations of classy, practical, and comfortable attires.

To create a fashion statement winter look, stock up on basic items. Wool coats, sweaters, warm boots and perfectly chic jeans are essential for survival in low temperatures. In this blog, I am going to share five of my favorite winter wardrobe essentials.

my winter must haves

Here is a list of my favorite winter essentials that should definitely be a part of your closet this winter.

Joggers

jogger set

Loungewear has been trending lately, and you can dapper up your look while wearing a comfortable hoodie or a sweatshirt.

Simply pair it with a staple pair of jeans, leggings or get the jogger set to get an all-comfy vibe and a classy pair of loafers/sneakers.

When the weather gets cold, you can choose to wear comfortable and warm casual clothes to create a fashionable style.

Puffer coats

You certainly need one of these for the chilliest of days out there to get through the cold weather. Make sure to choose a waterproof material that can protect you in cold weather.

Simply layer yourself with this cozily warm puffer jacket, and you’re all set to leave the house and run the errands. This casual wardrobe piece can be carried with you for years to keep you warm in the cold.

Remember to choose the thickness of the puffer correctly. While the heavy-duty puffer is best for the freezing temperatures, a slightly thin one would be suitable for the milder climates.

Warm Tights Or Leggings

Add a pair of leggings to your winter wardrobe must-have to wear them under a skirt or knitted dress.

I can’t emphasize enough the functionality of the tights-it keeps you warm and also compliment your figure. On cold winter nights, it is the perfect lower for your elegant dress.

To create a statement look, choose neutral tones of black, gray, blue, and white, or ca glittering style. I like to use black or a skin-toned nude tights.

Over the Knee Boots

knee boots

Chic, stylish and dashing – plus the warmth and comfort they provide, knee-high boots are an absolute must-have for winter closet.

Just like your statement winter coat, this graceful footwear can last you years, keeping your legs warm and comfortable while giving you a fabulously edgy style.

I like to pair mine with skinny jeans for a casual look during the day and glam them up with midi dresses or skirts at night.

Scarves

The scarf around the neck is an outstanding look as a basic winter outfit.

Scarves are a great way to add bold and vibrant colors to a low-toned outfit. Look for unique textures and dynamic patterns to create outstanding clothing combinations. After all, this layer can take your styling to a whole new level.

Compared to a hat, a scarf can have many different styles. It can be used as a headband, style around the neck, or as a beautiful accessory for a bag.

That’s all from my list of winter essentials. I hope you found this post helpful. Comment to let me know if your favorite winter must-have is on this list.
