Happy Blogmas!
Hello, and welcome to the first day of BLOGMAS! I have wanted to do blogmas since the first year I started blogging, but my schedule was always crazy. This year, however, the stars have aligned, and I’m excited to be doing this fun blogging challenge. I hope you are as excited about all things holiday as I am. I’m looking forward to sharing with you holiday styles, Christmas traditions, self-care tips, gift guides, and all things elevating ourselves. Get ready for a month filled with holiday cheer and inspiration!
What is blogmas?
For those curious about blogmas, it’s a tradition where bloggers share daily content related to the holiday season throughout December. While many opt for a daily posting schedule, I’ll take a slightly different approach by posting every other day leading up to Christmas. That means you can look forward to 13 holiday posts from me this December. Exciting, Right?
A little Reintroduction
I feel like I’m mostly on here going straight to business, but I would love to connect with you more. So here are a few fun things about me, and I would love to know something about you.
I’m Olabisi; most people call me Bisi (BC). I’m a Nigerian-Sierra Leonean, mom to three kids, and an accountant by day. My blogging journey started when I was a stay-at-home mom of two infants. Blogging was a fun thing I did on the side, but it has become a space where women can find support, inspiration, and valuable tips on fashion and motherhood. In a world where societal expectations often dictate how moms should dress or balance their lives, Life with Bisi stands as a refreshing and empowering space for women to embrace their true selves. I share my favorite products, fashion and parenting tips, and everything in between.
Here are some fun facts about me:
- I have four older siblings who grew up together, and I grew up in a different country from them.
- The smell of strong black coffee makes me happy. I have to have at least one cup a day.
- I’m a big fan of Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder (Go Shonda).
- I chose a career in accounting because of the way African bankers dress (best choice ever).
- I find joy in everything and love a good, stomach-tightening, eye-watering laugh.
Okay, friend, now share something about you.
Let me know if there’s anything you’d like to see from me. Any blogmas ideas are welcome. The season is going by too quickly, but we’ll make the most of it. That’s it for today! I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope you come back this week for another fun blog!
Wishing you a magical and merry Blogmas!
